The opportunity to participate at the Mosaic came to me through a nice friend, and it forced me to do things I had been postponing for a long time. Get organized, go through all the painting I had just been storing and realizing that my childhood passion for always learning something new was still intact and all the material and finished and unfinished art shocked me.
So, I took on the challenge, got some of the paintings scanned and ready for the website; my dear friend designed the cards for me. My friends and family helped and encouraged me in the whole process, from giving objective feedbacks, finding a nice person to design the website, helping in shopping and framing the art, their support by their presence, setting and packing the car.
The mosaic taught me a lot, Staying calm, setting up in short time deadlines; learning to let go. The support of friends and clients by by coming to visit was great. Although the second day was a great challenge with the rain almost washing the day off; my thoughts were with the organizers who were planning this event and how many other people were involved and how it must have effected them.
